GO GLOBAL obtains CBE designation from District of Columbia

GO GLOBAL was recently recognized by the District of Columbia as a Certified Business Enterprise (CBE) and qualified for inclusion in four CBE categories:

• Local Business Enterprise (LBE),

• Small Business Enterprise (SBE),

• Development Enterprise Zone (DZE), and

• Resident Owned Business (ROB).

A Certified Business Enterprise (CBE) is a business that is headquartered in the District of Columbia and has been certified by the Department of Small and Local Business Development (DSLBD). Businesses with CBE certification receive preferred procurement and contracting opportunities.

Since 2019, GO GLOBAL has been working with various DC Government agencies and programs such as the Aspire to Entrepreneurship program for returning citizens, DC Main Streets Program and several Department of Housing and Community Development supported small business technical assistance programs. In 2021, we were awarded funding from the DC Mayor’s Office on Latino Affairs (MOLA) for our Tell Your Money Story Masterclass Series. This new certification and designation will allow us to not only deepen our working relationship with the District of Columbia but also deepen our impact in the areas of leadership development and small business development in the nation’s capital.
